Week 4

So amazing to see how much little Brandon is growing each week.

BLyu had a busy week. Admitted to the hospital for distended abdomen on Monday. Worked up for Hirschprung among other things. Final working diagnosis is Milk Protein Allergy. After starting Allimentum he is doing much better. More to come after seeing Dr Lee, the PEDs GI doctor.

8 pounds 8 ounces on Saturday at the 1 month pediatrician visit! Growing fast!

Celebrated Mothers Day #1. What a great mom Helen is becoming. Happy Mothers Day Helen!!!

We made some hand and foot prints of Brandon. Idea is to do one print each year and make a compilation throughout his life. Let's see hot it turns out!!!

Weekend is here! (#3)

Today is Day of Life 20!!! Almost 3 weeks old. He's definitely filling in around the cheeks. 7 pounds 5 ounces!!!

Bolt Bus fun! I'm going to miss these bus rides!

Afterwards we all went to Peking Gourmet Inn for some Chinese food. Deck the halls w boughs of horry, Fa Ra Ra Ra Rahhhh Ra Ra Ra Raaaaah!

Took the Bolt Bus down last night to DC. The Bus broke down in Philadelphia and took 7 hours total to get to Helen's place. I'm too old to be taking the Bolt Bus!

DOL 6

Today is Brandon's DOL6. Almost a week old. Can't believe it.

Bili level dropped to 12 today. Great news. He's eating well, sleeping well. Feeding schedule is like clock-work. He gets up 2 hours from his last feeding. To the minute.

Had a visit from Uncle Aaron and Aunts Kathy and Alexis. What a treat.

Daddy leaves today for NYC. He will miss Brandon lots. Mom and Grandma too.

First Bath!

Today's Bili was 19.0... Not statistically different. But not rising, either. Will plan to continue good feeding and Photo-Therapy.

Brandon had his first bath today. Not sure if he enjoyed it, but he looks clean!!!

Day4

Brandon's Bilirubin was 18.5 today. Mildly reduced, but still a good sign. Weight increased to 6lb 4oz.

Brandon is eating well.

Grandma Lyu left today. Brandon will miss her a lot, bit will hopefully see each other soon!

Photo Therapy

Brandon started his Photo-Therapy today. A little reminiscent of the Matrix.

Hopefully the Blue Light will help solubilize the bilirubin.

First Pediatrician Visit

Brandon's first pediatrician visit.

6lbs 1oz.

Bilirubin level rose to 19. Brandon appears a bit more jaundiced today.

Will start Photo-Therapy today. increase feedings to q2 Hours, supplemented by Enfamil.
